Discipleship

Following Jesus

Early Christians were called disciples or followers. As we seek to follow Christ, we recognize the two foundational laws of Christianity—love God and love others. Just like the early disciples, we base our beliefs and practices solely upon the Bible.

Know Him

Loving and following God requires that we know Him well. This means that the life of a Christian is to be dedicated to a life of learning. In order to grow in our faith, we must regularly read and study the Bible and commit ourselves to a life of prayer. In this way we come to know more about God and to personally experience His presence in our lives.

We offer a range of opportunities that help believers of every age come to know Jesus better.

Make Him Known

A life of service is a key component of a follower of Jesus. We show our love for others as we minister and serve in a multitude of ways. As Christians we are to be known for our love for each other. As we teach, preach, strengthen the weak, and build a church community, we display our love for each other to the world.

Christians are also to be known for their love of the world outside our church community. As we reach out to the world around us with God’s message of renewal, restoration, dignity and respect for all we express our love for each person.

Missions

We support dozens of missionary projects. The majority of these are church planting missionaries in countries around the world. We also support some local and US-based projects. Supporting missions allows us to be involved in reaching our world for Christ.

Public Events

Our public events are opportunities to share our love of Jesus with our community.
